About the 7th Annual Damon Bunting Charity Classic

The 7th Annual Damon Bunting Charity Classic (DBCC) is a premier golf event supporting Robin Hood Association (RHA). This high-quality tournament is designed to ensure a meaningful and intimate experience for all involved. Over the past six years, we've raised over $110,000 for the RHA, and this year, with your support, we aim to surpass that milestone.

This year, we're excited to announce a new partnership with the Rogers Charity Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions Tournament happening in Calgary from August 14-18. Through their 'Birdies for Kids' fundraising initiative, all funds raised during the Damon Bunting Charity Classic will be matched up to 50% by the Rogers Charity Classic - making your sponsorship dollars go even farther!

The funds raised by the DBCC (and matched through the BFK initiative) will support the Robin Hood Association’s Children & Youth Services and the Children and Youth Community Centre, where these vital programs are offered.

About the Charity

Robin Hood Association empowers people with disabilities.

We strive to:

  • Support people to live their best lives

  • Create opportunities to develop skills and independence

  • Facilitate mutually beneficial connections and relationships within the community.

Presently, RHA provides life-long support to 350 adults and 414 children and their families in Sherwood Park, Fort Sask and Leduc County. We employ 746 full-and part-time staff. We operate six major facilities: three Adult Learning Centres, a Children and Youth Community Centre, a multi-unit residential facility, and a transportation terminal from which we operate 13 para-transit vehicles. The 56 residential group homes we operate are home to 199 adults with disabilities, and we monitor 10 support homes.
